I live in Nashville I'm a delivery driver and my deliveries that day took me through the tornado path I was in Clarksville Hendersonville Springfield and Gallatin. Three different times my phone alerted me that there was a tornado on the ground less than 1000 ft away from me. It was in Hendersonville that I was afraid for my life and I pulled into someone's house as the trash cans and trees were blowing down the street and shielded myself with someone's brick three car garage, I was lucky this person had a weird shaped house , my instinct told me that this house would shield me and it did I sat it out for about 5 minutes. All the electricity was out in the entire subdivision The owner came out at the end with a flashlight and I just said hey man your garage saved my life I was getting out of the path. Had I kept driving instead of pulled into his house I probably would have been in it
