17. The Markus' story was the mirror image of my and my mother's experience. 1993 – We both spoke to my mother's dear friend, she was very teary and upset that she 'may not be allowed' to visit my mother ever again.
    It was an extremely odd conversation, she was worried that my mother may have bought her a gift (she had, a surprise birthday present) and she was sad and anxious that she may have caused my mother an unnecessary expense, she avoided details, just kept apologizing, saying it would possibly be the last time for a long time that she could talk to my mother again.
    The telephone ring was extremely loud, her voice echoed as if she was in a large empty room with high ceilings. That night we were trying to make sense of it & getting ready for bed, when my hairdryer on the bathroom basin suddenly turned on, turbo a speed that was impossible, picked itself up and then slammed itself back down on the basin..then caught on fire..it wasn't even plugged in.
    My mums friend had died violently and tragically two days before, news hadn't reached us yet. RIP sweet Angelina

31. In cultures where this is a common practice we're usually 'exposed' to seeing dead bodies from when we're babies so it's no big deal. Young shildren running around playing with the deceased in the same room is a natural part of things. If I'd been older, like 5, my first time I probably would have found it scary too.

33. This is really cool. I saw one once with Joan Rivers. In her NY home, it was haunted, she had a lady come at 4am or something to clear out the ghosts. Every neighbor she knocked on their doors, at 4/5am all agreed bcuz they all went thru it. I miss her so very much. I can't remember the story too well but it was good. R.I.P. Joan Rivers.
