This natural disasters was not just a mere inconvenience; it was a harrowing event that wreaked havoc, tearing apart homes, crippling vital infrastructure, and disrupting the crucial transportation systems that knit these cities together.
As dawn broke, the fierce floodwaters, a relentless force of nature, surged through the densely populated areas of Erbil.
Thousands of residents, their lives upended by this natural disasters, found themselves in a desperate scramble to escape the rising waters.
The toll of this natural disasters was heart-wrenching. According to local authorities, the flood claimed the lives of 14 individuals, a grim testament to the ferocity of natural disasters.
Over 7,000 others grappled with the aftermath, confronting the severe consequences of this natural disasters.
In response to this natural disasters, the government swiftly mobilized the Natural Disasters Rapid Assessment and Response Team.
Their mission was critical: to evaluate the damage and identify the urgent needs of those affected, particularly in the refugee camps.
Preliminary checks were conducted to ascertain the impact on affected families, while search and rescue teams, the unsung heroes in the face of natural disasters, worked tirelessly in their efforts.
