13. My aunt has a boxer frenchie mix. He has hip problems and you can tell sometimes has trouble breathing but is honestly a great dog.

15. Don’t get one. Mine was at the vet ever single month. And I was already in love with her so I spend every dollar I had trying to get her better. $3,500 one time for a blood transfusion. Still didn’t work. She died of blood poisoning later. The vets could not stop it. It’s honestly cruel to breed them still.

27. French Bulldogs are not one of the smartest dogs, in fact they're on the lower end of intelligence. Mine was sharp as a whip, but to say they're one of the smartest dog breeds is empirically incorrect. They are also prone to A LOT of health problems, including gastrointestinal issues, spinal disorders, airway restriction, skin infections, the list goes on. To the point that it's actually quite cruel and selfish to keep breeding congenital issues into them, which is what you're doing if you breed french bulldogs at all. My french bulldog, my baby, died in pain, with a spine disorder that caused his discs to slip out of place, and he needed to be euthanized. I'm still not over it. It's been almost a year, and I still cry every day. I miss him every single day, and all I could do was watch helplessly for the last couple months of his life while he struggled. He was only 3. Think long and hard about getting a frenchie, if you can live with the guilt of knowing that you're a-ok with continually breeding disorder into innocent dogs, because you want a cute little buddy with a flat face & stubby legs.

32. I just feel so nostalgic looking at this. My family got one of those guys after our first family dog passed away couple months earlier. He was so freakin' but oh boy was he a handful to live with. Luckely he didn't have any condition throughout his whole life, despite a cancer he somehow survived even tho the doc said he wasn't going to make it.
    We had to give this dog to someone else after we were forced to change from a big house with a garden to a little appartment, last time I saw him he seemed quite happy with his new life and that's all i was asking

33. My Frenchie named Gizmo just turned 14 this month! 2 key factors to longevity is feed them a very healthy and high quality dog food. Second, NEVER let them go up and down stairs or jump up onto a couch or other things. They genetically have bad hips and that simple thing will help to minimize issues later on. When Gizmo turned 4, she had severe pain in her hips and could not walk! Took her to the vet and he explained not to let her go up and down stairs. Since then, I always carried her up/down them and here we are 10 years later and never had another issue since!

    This has never been about religion, but an invitation to gain everlasting life and an intimate relationship with GOD today, which is only found and made possible in His Son, JESUS CHRIST. 💖🙇👑🙌
