6. With our second cat, she would happily sit round my neck when I wandered around the house. She was such a brilliant cat.

   Our first cat would go out on the wall and say hello to people walking up and down the road, and I would look out the window and see her with people. My girlfriend had a friend who lived up the road, and, being an animal lover, would stroke cats on the way, so I might have looked out, seen some girl, thought nothing of it, and not realise that she would be my girlfriend in years to come.

   Sadly, my first cat went mental and died in my arms when she was five, and it turned out that she had a lung defect, and simply couldn't breath. They were both beautiful, friendly cats and were never vicious..

7. Those vibrating devices are dangerous against the skull…or any bone in the body human or animal. Scary to see someone risking injury to their pet because they haven't done their research.

    Every cat I've ever adopted, and I've adopted a lot over my 59 years, has been the exact opposite of what people think cats are like. Same thing with all of my friends that have cats. If you don't give a cat love and interact with it, then what do you expect in return?

29. I'm really tired of hearing about loving cats being described as "really more like a dog than a cat." Like people, there are all kinds of dogs and cats with different personalities and traumas lived. Just know your pets, accept them, and love them.
