  1. Don't care for the take on ordering Dooku's assassin. "Stoop so low"….Killing is how you win wars. As Tarkin corrected noted, the Jedi were terrible Generals because they couldn't do what is necessary to win a war. If the Jedi were supposed to be peaceful monks who swore no violence, there'd be no reason to use a light saber. Nothing but stupidity and self righteousness would think even the Jedi didn't need to kill on occasion. It's like saying that if there were Jedi on Earth and they could have killed Hitler to stop the Holocaust, that they shouldn't do it…just sit back and watch it all happen.

  2. "it was this exact moment, where the Jedi decide to assassinate dooku, where they have gone beyond the point of no return". Nothing good comes from compromising in order to achieve victory. You are never fighting purely against flesh and blood. You are always combatting evil. When you choose to act in evil ways, you are letting the actual enemy inside the gates, giving them a seat at the table, and beginning to take their advice.

  3. Christopher Lee has that old school studio presence in every scene. Standing still, even his posture and expression say "I'm important ". It's hard to capture in the animation but they get it right from time to time

  4. I thank you very much for this video! Depression has been kickin my ass and this along with my Game of thrones universe are keeping me from being all fucked upside

  5. I can't be mad at dooku. He knew the jedi were boned, and he wanted to gain his own life like quigon. Super smart, and was honestly so much of a stright shooter that he literally told obiwan the literal game plan, but it reminds me of jack sparrow trying to take the ship in the first movie telling the guards im here to take this ship and go pillage my filthy black heart out. Obiwan shouldve atleast looked into this even if he wasn't sure of it being true, all he had to do was spy on the chancellor for a couple weeks.

  6. 4:09 – "The Jedi cannot help the slaves on Tatooine, but they can help the slave masters." That's a very valid criticism of the Jedi Council on Dooku's part. However, by choosing to become Sidious' useful idiot, he aligned himself with the very Evil that created slavery in the first place. So in the end he was no better than that which he professed to oppose.

  7. Just shows how crazy the Jedi masters were. You have a child full of potential , but emotionally confused. Surely that’s when you need a master the most

  8. Hopefully this video goes a long way on educating the uninitiated with Dooku. Sad that so many people see him as a jobber for the Jedi & even his own peers. The only pure swordsman in Star Wars wasn't weak or anything like that, his only weakness was trusting the wrong man.
