17 True Scary Stories to Keep You Up At Night (Horror Compilation W/ Rain Sounds)
Spread The Viralist

This is a 1 hour true scary story/horror compilation to help you sleep or to use it as a podcast in the background or as ASMR when you try to get some sleep. Try it however you like!

Everybody loves a good old fashioned true scary story! I usually read true horror stories almost every day from true stalker stories, camping horror stories, home invasion horror stories, scary nightshift stories, scary workplace stories, and even the occasional true scary clown story if I’m feeling particularly spicy (mostly sourced by reddit or submitted by subscribers)! I also make videos on unsolved mysteries, internet mysteries, dark experiments, and crimes that changed the world weekly too! Basically just anything I find interesting, so if you find that interesting too, why not stick around a little bit? ๐Ÿ™‚

The true scary stories in the rain, and rain sounds format is used with the explicit permission of Being Scared himself! Thank you for allowing the use of this relaxing format, as I know most of my viewers listen to my videos as they fall asleep. Yes I’m in the same genre as Let’s Read, Lazy Masquerade, and Mr. Nightmare. You don’t need to tell me forty times, thanks.

  1. That person who was left at the catering hall with no ride shouldโ€™ve def called their boss for an Uber, or asked to get a ride with them and pay them back. Thatโ€™s the least your boss could do for you for all of your help and to make sure you get home safe. It sucks that they felt like those were the only options they had. Yes it isnโ€™t the bosses โ€œproblemโ€, but Iโ€™m sure they wouldโ€™ve rather them get home safe than end up hurt.

  2. "forgetting" debit card/"leaving" it at home….code for being broke. Also, it's a good idea to memorize your debit card information or credit if you have one. I don't know how people don't have it memorized. Between online shopping, online banking, calling the 800 number for issues, etc its actually fairly simple to memorize without effort.

  3. I already knew when OP in story 1 started describing the layout and those one sided deadbolted doors the story would have something to do with fire and death. One sided deadbolted doors and multi-story, multi-unit, doesn't sound safe. It's hard to tell based on the basic description if the setup is still a death trap like when the accident occurred. But just from what OP described it sounds the setup is the same, or at least just as hazardous. You'd think the fire inspector/building codes would enforce fire safety changes but they are known to take bribes, especially building codes.. I feel uneasy a lot of times when people are describing their apartments/flats in some of these stories, especially when big old homes have been divided into multiple apartments and basement apartments with their tiny windows you can't fit out of and you're wondering if there's an outside exit. Scary stuff.
