Mark is spitting facts. The best friends one can have are ones that will make racial jokes against you and you against them. Both parties know there's no ill intent and they'll ride or die with each other. Personally, I don't think anything should be off limits to joke about. Humor is a coping mechanism and telling people they can't joke about something because it's too fucked up just forces people to wallow in negative thoughts with no way to lighten the mood or they face being condemned. Just let people laugh and make jokes as long as they're not harming someone, being offended isn't harm. Unless someone is a troglodyte, it's pretty easy to determine whether something is a harmless edgy joke or something genuinely concerning and worthy of contempt.

A few years ago on a contact, i was in a lift with a few people. There was this lass and a guy she said to him "hey joe were you in the city centre on Saturday", his responce was "no" she replies are you sure he says "yeah wasn't me but you know all us Asians we look a like" i be like stare at the ceiling and hope it blows away…

You’re not wrong about your experience but there are many like hundreds or more different places in this world where electricity isn’t even invented in those people continuously living. But they get some eventually or they’re old and watch tv and there childhood was like that no electricity no nothing basically in comparison with today. Those grown adults having those parents still alive today suffer from this examples. It’s not you, it’s them that need to change. What I’m saying is well I’ll say great show you have but the more accurate you make it the better it gets.
