Sadly, a lot of white cats, especially those with blue eyes, are deaf. Glad to see these folks figured it out and are doing more to help Donut.

I once had a cat that was deaf since birth and he was the loudest cat I've ever had and to make things worse his sister (who wasn't deaf) started copying him! So I had two screaming cats in my house for several years 😂 I miss them ❤
Did they mention if Donut has blue eyes? White, blue-eyed cats are almost universally deaf.

Yeah i immidietly knew he was deaf, i have a white cat myself and he's deaf and scream like that too, even worse sometime
60% of white cats with blue eyes are deaf, but as smart animals, they can always make up for their deficiency…
