14. Had a 115lb Rhodesian Ridgeback (Sammy) and a run of the mill Tabby cat (Jinx). Jinx would tease Sammy all day and get him wound right up. When it was time for nap or bed, Jinx would lick his ears and snuggle in between his fore legs to keep warm. Sammy could’ve ended him quickly, but they slept together. Den animals and safety in numbers I suppose, but it was cute. Sammy’s leg weighed twice the amount of Jinx, but he was gentle come bed time. And he put up with a lot of s*it from Jinx.

16. Though I agree that cats are awesome and quite hilarious, I think dogs make better pets. (And this is coming from an individual who has owned both a dog and a cat at one point in their life.) Some may argue that cats make better pets because they are more independent and less demanding. This is true. However, keeping up with a dogs demands is a small price to pay for their love and affection. Dogs are typically friendlier than cats, and because of this, it is easier to develop a connection with a dog, thus earning them the title of “man’s best friend”. Dog owners can bond with their pets by going on walks and playing fetch. Cat owners cannot. So if you or someone you know is in the market for a pet, I would suggest getting a dog!
