I live in Seattle, and we are blessed with multiple geological fault systems.
Lots of earthquakes, the odd Volcano exploding, subduction zones…all in good fun.
The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful place, but it's built from broken rocks floating on magma.
It's called an ice shove where I live not an ice tsunami.
Between ice ages, it's always hotter. It'll get cold again with the Earth's fifth ice age.

Just like Japan, Chile is in the Ring of Fire, so we also get a lot of strong earthquakes, thus buildings need to be constructed with very strict counter-quake measures.
I remember the first earthquake I experienced was an 8.8 Richter back in early 2010.
But we get plenty of other disasters as well: tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods being the most common.
Sometimes landslides, waterspouts, tornadoes and hailstorms may happen too.
Forest fires are mostly human-caused, tho.
Living here is an adventure ☠️
