He underwent amputation surgery and everything came out very well and he is recovering nicely. He’s already out of that huge pain and even though he lost his leg, he WON HIS LIFE. Hero had a hemoglobin at 3.1, he was dying of anemia and a severe infection. He had to undergo two blood transfusions that saved his life and allowed him to be operated on. Now if he can play, before with that big leg he couldn’t because it was too heavy and caused him a lot of pain. He lost a paw but he keeps wagging his tail.
