3. OMGosh. I wasn't prepared. The last one was a real tear jerker.😢 The generous, compassionate man, spurred into action by his doggo was incredible. Animals only know love, until they're taught hate by humans.

7. My hubby’s bomb dog had a hard time when she retired. She was very play focused and I had become disabled and at home all the time, so I hid her favorite ball both inside and outside the house, which she loved. She became my baby. Though she wasn’t protection trained, after meeting an unappealing individual while on a walk, I trusted her to protect both of us. His first dog, a many thousands of dollar Shepherd failed (given to a family) and a friend found KC at the pound. She was a hunting mix and the other guys gave him a hard time until she turned out be the best of the best, probably due to her nose. Love my current Bassett rescue/companion but I suspect he would sell me for a cookie!
