The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is a motorsport endurance series inspired by 24 Hours of Le Mans. ELMS offers its competitors a full season of car racing on some of the best tracks in Europe and is split into three different categories: LMP2, LMP3 and LMGTE. The 2023 season runs between April – October and consists of six races, starting in Le Castellet and finishing in Portimão. The series is a natural training ground for drivers wanting to tackle the FIA World Endurance Championship with many aiming to become future world champions.

  1. Love this! Road to Le Mans has been such a great YouTube series! Got me into endurance racing big time!

Micheal has been a great inspiration to myself – gave me the urge to follow my dreams and start racing – never too old!

  2. I've enjoyed Michael as an actor, Inglorious Bastards stands out for me, and Band of Brothers. Hes made the journey of a racing driver the same as many. He definitely had huge advantages that other don't. But that can be said of others too. No driver/racer is ever satisfied. If they are? their career is dead. He's genuine and honest. Kind of a modern Steve McQueen. Best of luck to him in the future of racing.

  3. It's been amazing watching him grow but there comes a time were consistency becomes very paramount before the opportunities run out or people start walking away.

  4. Michael 🎉🎉!!!!! Love you maaann!! Awesome interview, dying to see season 5 of road to lemans!!! Sooo happy to hear you're sticking with racing! When i see you, Richard, Sebastian, or anyone from the group, just get the biggest smile on my face!! Keep it going.

  5. absolutely hoping to see him back in 2024 and that he finishes. Anyone know if Porsche is still doing their series covering him? have enjoyed watching the last 3 seasons.

  6. Fassbender is half the reason I watch the ELMS. It's such a great story and it's nice to live vicariously through someone living out my dream. I hope he's back next year.

  7. Followed your journey MF from the start and will continue to follow the great story. From an actor that does a bit of racing to a True race driver that does a bit of acting!

  8. What a genuine presence he has. It's been a pleasure getting to know him and his journey.
Looking forward to more great racing from him and the team next year!
Excited to see a win in 2024!! 🤘🔥

  9. Always want to see Fassbender racing, I feel like I support him from afar in the same way I do my friends. Probably because he seems likeable, genuine and just wants to do his absolute best all the time. After watching RTLM at the beginning, it really got me back into motorsport after being bored by F1. Can't wait to see what we have coming up.

  10. whilst he's crashed/spun too much probably for his own liking over these last 4 seasons of ELMS (not all of them his own fault to be fair) , regardless of whether you like him as an actor, a driver or as a person you can't deny that off the track he's been good for this series, look at road to Le Mans for example much better in more ways than a certain Netflix programme that shall remain nameless wouldn't you say
