I live in a mostly Italian neighborhood called Mill Basin about a mile away from here. I have been up and down these streets a million times and I havent seen a street walker in the last 20 years. Then again I'm not trolling for them at 6am Saturday morning. You used to see alot years ago but the cops are on top of everything now. They even shut down the famous fountain ave. street racing. East New York is a mostly Industrial area and is really not that dangerous. Nearby Brownsville is way worse but even in Brownsville, the cops are camped out there and you don't normally see people committing crimes in plain view. Tons of famous gangsters are from East New York including John Gotti and the famous Varrio crew which the movie Goodfellas is based off of.
They are all blacks, is that a black neighborhood ?
