Clear this was doomed to fail from the offset. Large amounts of mortar or cement soon stiffen up at the bottom layer reason being the water content in the mix is driven upwards to the surface in a short period of time due to the weight of the sand and cement mixture being a heavier material. .clearly he was not advised on this factor apart from the reporter..but he had made up his mind by then and the case collapsed anyway and that was goodbye Joe.
No offense. But, that was a pretty stupid stunt that that guy tried to pull. It was his own fault that he died. Too bad.
