Well shyt when you are the smartest mammal on the planet and another mammal, humans, pollute and invade your world, start killing and holding captive to train you for war, science experiments or entertainment purposes. Then it’s perfectly understandable to see why some of them would act this way towards us and even occasionally kill some people. But I think most of them dolphins have forgiven us for our crap and has even made some type of alliance with us.

However many attacks on people are also due to being provoked. Especially if there are calves in the area the dolphins will get very nervous.
