Gloria Serge was walking her dog in the Spanish Lakes Fairways neighborhood where she lived when an alligator attacked her dog. She managed to save her dog’s life by pulling it away, but she was eaten alive by the alligator in the process.

Always carry a gun with you when enjoying nature. Nature always seems beautiful, but it always has hidden dangers that people in modern society forget. Here in Kenya, tribes that live in natural areas will always walk with a machete.
Really sad that they killed the gator it only was trying to survive…..the woman was ignorant or foolish….you can clearly see she’s staring right at the water and it’s clearly moving….feel sorry for the dog too

Omgosh we lived in Spanish Fairways. Beautiful place. You never walk near any freshwater alone, especially with a pet.
This is tragic but, why is this story portrayed as if she was trying to save her dog? She fell backwards from the shock of a gator surprising her because she was completely oblivious to her surroundings. Not only that but, she can’t walk well, why would she walk so close to water? I also don’t get why there’s bodies of water around an old folks community in Florida.
