  2. why not address all thes engine problems at 30k. i almost bought one but then found all kinds of owners needed engine replacementat 30k. and no loaner, no answer from dealers

  3. Yes Kia/Hyundai is so reliable thats why they are recalling millions of their vehicles because they catch on fire, easily stolen, engines and transmissions blow up before 100,000 miles. So reliable ?!? 😂😮

  4. Scotty, you used to say Hyundai/Kia are junk! now you promoting them? did you get sued by them? the truth is they make junk powertrains. I owed 3 Hyundai's and all 3 had engine and transmission issues. After talking to the dealer guy he said even the new ones have engine burning oil issue.

  5. The key difference between Korean cars and Japanese cars is that the Korean brands make significant improvements and growth at every generation 3, 4 years. Kia's were trash. But they took that profit and reinvested it into improvements in their 2012ish generation and again 2017, and again huge improvements for 2022 lineups. Hyundai entirely revamped their assembly process to improve quality back in the 90s and banked on it by offering their 10 yr warranty that probably saved the company. That took balls. The other underrated aspect is design both outside as well as the inside. The tech and infotainment controls are lighters better than Japanese counterparts. I have a Mazda CX5 2018 and the Kia Sportage 2017.

  6. Man sonatas are the only cars I see in 2023 that blows out black smoke out the pipes still. They sales are only up because they are rental fleet cars. That's it

  7. Did you get money to make this video, Me and my wife are teachers and we want to buy our first new car together. Are you sayihng Hyundai and Kia are as good as the rest of them? She wants new and I just want something that will not break down.

  8. 100,000 miles with the 2020 hyundai palisade and all it was needed was a brake line replacement and routine oil and tire maintenance. One small problem we have is the Trunk door where it sometimes won't open (Non-powered trunk lid) because of a faulty hinge which was recalled I believe.

  9. using the words "nobody is telling you the truth" about so-and-so does wonders for the algorithm…people love to think that they are being lied to and to find some insider conspiracy information

  10. KIA dealer has had my 21 K5 for over a year straight. Electrical problems causing erratic throttle positions. Now they want to give salvage value for the car. Will never take a chance on a Korean car again.

  11. I drive one of the worst models of Kia, a 2008 Kia Rio. 😡 It's cheaply made and doesn't have enough power going up higher altitudes. It still runs, but it feels like the car is going to break into pieces sitting at a red light. The paint doesn't hold up on Kias.

  12. We liked our '15 Sonata until it reached 98k miles and started having crazy vibrations in idle…. brought it back and forth to dealership a couple times, they couldnt figure it out. Well at 108k miles the 3rd valve blew on our engine after a couple months of putting a qt of oil per week into it!!! It sat in the service dept for 3 MONTHS while we argued with corporate and the dealership argued with corporate until today when they confirmed everyone's suspicions and said…. its from excessive oil consumption, then they flipped us the bird and said sucks to be out of warranty…. last Hyundai I'll ever own.

  13. Was a Chevy man until 2019 😂 went and got a 2019 Kia Rio for long work commutes base model… I fell in love now I’m used to driving blazers suburbans my 72 nova but I’ve now had 2 Kia’s and won’t ever change brands they are awesome in my opinion after rio I got a 2020 Sportage and man it is awesome great car

  14. I owned a 2006 Kia Spectra5 hatchback, a 2014 Kia Optima, and now own a 2018 Elantra GT, which is the version of the European i30 they imported to the US.
I understand the recalls for possible engine problems, but I have enjoyed every mile with each of these three vehicles.

  15. Optima 2017 GT Line Estate is my dream car. Too bad the UK can't have nice things and there only shitty diesel available and literally a handful of hybrids with useless cargo space occupied by battery! Poland's got petrols in 1.6 T- GDI, 2.0 MPI, 2.0 T-GDI and even 2.4 MPI! Insane. Strangely enough this is generally the case with D segment cars in the British Isles, no decent petrols, diesels only, useless in small towns such as one I live in.

  16. I'm in Saudi and very unfortunately people were complaining about engine for sonata model 2017-2020. Now the new engine looks better (this is what I'm hearing)!!

  17. recently got a Sonata hybrid "blue" trim level. Switched to Hyundai mainly because I wanted a sedan and Ford (my previous brand due to family connections) stopped building sedans and hatchbacks. The lower trim still comes with automatic highway driving tech that makes my long commute a lot more liveable. There is no way to get this type of tech in a comfortable sedan at a lower price.
