They should have a designated emergency landing/exit/water – area along the rocks with smooth sided concrete or a ladder where it is easy for people stranded in the water to come to and exit the water. Being run over by crazy speeding boats is very real possibility
Once those river rats ( jet skiers ) get on the water in groups they think they own the place, can do whatever they want ( Hells Angels ) on the water, crossing in ft., back, to the sides of you to catch some waves, they have right to be there just as regular boaters do, but common sense, courtesy on the water helps, either they don't understand, don't care, but bigger boats can't maneuver as quicky, as they zip all over the place, plus they're harder to see especially when you have your bow facing the sky, personally I think they don't give a rats ass till they almost or become fish food !

The larger boat with limited maneuvering ability has the right of way. The Jet Skier should be liable for reckless operation and have to pay for any damages.

I swear to god, that some people should come no closer to boats and water than a rubber duck in their wading pool. And seriously, who the heck needs 2250 HP on their boat? Suffering from a inadequacy problem?
I am always overwhelmingly astounded by the number of captains who either are just careless or clueless to even allow bow riders on approach or exit here. It is irresponsible and ignorant. Then to see captains with kids on the bow with no life jacket on!!!! Boating will multiply the exposure of idiots.

Missouri. To me it looked like the captain was avoiding the other jet ski. I say the jet ski is at fault but I wasn't there. i certainly doubt the captain struck the jet ski on purpose. the two jet skis were foolish going towards a large craft like that, one on either side.

Judging by the size and expense of some of the boats, I would say the boating industry in Miami owes a significant debt to the drug industry.

I’ve been through Haulover and it’s definitely hairy. I don’t understand why they allow jet skis to play around in the channel. Let them pass through, but fooling around is just a huge danger to everyone! Why is this allowed?

The jet skis are impending the safe navigation of other vessels. That is a harbor entrance not a play zone. The jet skis must be restricted to in bound or out bound just like all the other vessels. The fact the the police, harbor patrol do not inforce this makes them complicit in any injury do to the unsafe operation of any water craft. Bottom line the police are encouraging the unsafe operation of these vessels.
No way in hell, in those tiny single or dual outboard boats!😂
