  1. I have a hard time respecting any "scientist" that looks me in the eye with a straight face and says without any doubt that a speck of dust is older than the sun: or that the fossil of some creature is a certain number of years old. Even worse are some of the "guesses / theories / facts" which claim to know the intentions of the people who were alive back then: or even that they know for sure a dinosaur was this or that. Truth is that's their best guess but they are so darn arrogant that they refuse to have an open mind even in the face of … how many times have they been proven wrong? Only to then turn around and then claim with the same arrogance that THIS time …. they're right,. Give me a break.

  2. another amazing video Katrina! The amount of research and background work is astounding! Round of drinks to you and your staff-love hearing your voice. I share your videos with friends, one of which is a well known scientist/ archaeologist himself-continued best of luck…

  3. sometimes i would love to see an actual picture of what is discribed/talked about or pointed out what of that dozen shown pictures is the real one between all that stock pics and vids.

  4. Oysters, yes, Clam with a Pearl no.
Karahan Tepe along with Gobekli Tepe are joined by several other sites within 30 Km of each other, known as the Tastepeller Archaeological something. I don't remember exactly the whole name for the area.
Tho they are all in the Anatolia Region of Modern Day Turkey.

  5. They sure claim to find the "first" thing a lot. Weird though, I remember back when I was in school it was pretty much openly admitted that they know so little about ancient history as to know nothing at all – like, we can't even accurately get most dates – the best we can do, usually, is finding the last evidence of habitation. All we can do and all we've ever been able to do, is make educated (or not) guesses. That's how such fields are so open to manipulation by the elite today – unfortunately, they're all easily compromised. Who knows when that was or how old many – especially megalithic – ruins really are? There are plenty all over the place that show such advanced weathering that they could easily be confused for a natural structure, except that they were clearly part of ancient city or temple complexes – India's got a ton of these examples too, where the only reason most people would suspect they WEREN'T natural is that they've been a part of their culture or home or whatever, for thousands of years.

I dunno, it's just a pet peeve I suppose… someitmes when you see the answers change but the actual information (or the info being "accepted" by "experts") is the same as ever – which implies a narrative change. It's a fortunate thing that technological advances such as satellite technology, make certain things so indisputable that people who might like to keep information away from the plebs for whatever reason, can't really pull it off without making themselves look incredibly stupid – you know that thing little kids do when they're clearly caught lying, but they still aren't quite conscious enough to just own up to it, so they lie and it's clear no one present is buying it? That's what we seem to see a lot of our "experts" today do, haha…

…and some of them have the nerve to call themselves scientists and researchers, when they're so protective of the field of study they will try to ruin careers over an idea that isn't theirs or an idea that conflicts. Anyway… just a random gripe.. I guess?
