  1. Mike, I love the way you present. You are my favorite because you are your genuine self, lame puns and all. You are awesome. Don't ever change.

  2. I've heard of the Dutchman, don't who hasn't. But I remember hearing about La Llorona as a young person from a Chicana friend. My friend said La Llorona haunted the canals around Yuma, searching for her child she had drowned. As an adult, the story has a lot in common with the Rusalka stories from fantasy novels. Not so much with the version that more closely resembles The Little Mermaid. Not sure how the whole mix up happened.

  3. Number 24 is actually very much like the rare sociopathic disorder my mother has. But the only shift she does is expertly fool the world outside and her victims into believing nothing is wrong. But to catch them and make them pay for how they destoy the minds of children is basically impossible because they never use any kind of violence. Apparently pain isn't as tasty as anguish and confusion. It is a bad way to grow up. She is so desperate for one last chance, she still pays for my phone because I say I don't need one. So I get a free phone by pretending she has another chance. Too bad it is not the satisfying death I love to imagine. But know I could not ever kill anyone or thing larger than a bug. But if just a liittle more of her or my just as awful father, then I could see her face as she realizes that she turned her favorite victim into the monster that kills her. Sweet thought, but I know I'll never be like her. I just do not have a taste for any of that crap, other than from hollywood. Cannot imagine why.

  4. Your subscriber count is simply amazing! But is it the subscribers or the views that matter most? You deserve them, your channel is awesome. Been lost in it for the last few nights! Was around long before you took your hiatus and I’m so glad you decided to come back!

    Great list again Mike
    Keeping me entertained 💯👍👍👍

  6. The flying Dutchman was a real ship… it was the fastest ship at the time… I think the 16th century… It was so fast that they said the captain sold his soul to the devil to make it the fastest ship of its time ..

  7. Mike, being myself from northern México to be exact the State of Sonora there is a story of capital city Hermosillo where in the 50s was a Casino for the elite and to a young woman who didnt obey her father not to go there, at the party one handsome man aproached to her asking to dance with him the sudenly showed himself as he really was The Prince of Darkness the devil burning down the casino with everybody inside there!!!
The other is from Álamos where a young welathy lady fell in love with a gardener who worked there, but her parents forbiden marry him as result she spent her last days sad and never married with the chosen by the parents, until this day this lady shows herself once for a time. Sorry for my english 😊

  8. In Connecticut, where I am from, there are a lot of local legends.. The White Lady who haunts the street near the cemetery, for reasons unknown, the same cemetery is supposed to have a spirit Red Eyes who was someone who was burned to death in 1935 across the street of the cemetery.. Those are just 2 of the legends. There are tons more.

  9. "The Black Dog" also goes by another name, Barghest, it is also considered a fae, along with the Dullahan. When it comes to folklore around that part of the world, a lot of fae do not look like the typical ones that most people think of.

  10. I made up a story when my son was little to stop him from wetting the bed. It was a troll who lived in the sewer and went from house to house sticking his long nose out of toilets to smell if a child had wet the bed . If he smelled pee he would crawl out and gobble them up. My son asked if that was true so I said I had made it up. However his bed stayed dry from that day forward.

  11. This was pretty interesting Mike.
When I was a little kid I lived overseas for a few years.
Growing up in Taiwan as a Navy brat in the beginning of the 70s I heard all sorts of different ghost stories.
    Also…
My Bruins gave the Captains C to my namesake.
    See your Bolts soon brother.
And again a preemptive Congratulations for your upcoming announcement…

  12. I've seen a few of your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed them. They are well researched and presented. Particularly, I wanted to give you credit for the clear effort you make to correctly pronounce the names of places/people/things. It demonstrates a high caliber to your material. It puts you head and shoulders above other channels/posts where presenters regularly butcher their obviously native English language. Thanks for your efforts and keep up the good quality work!

  13. I’ve heard by fellow Doctors and surgeons that some people are like a “DVD Player.” The ghost are like the DVDs” when certain ghosts are around, the people who are in tune, or the Player can see and hear them. I have never seen a ghost or a spirit. I keep an open mind about them. I can’t prove they don’t exist and I can’t prove they do. I’m not going to say they don’t. I’m religious so I do believe in Heaven and He’ll .

  14. I've always wanted to know……. if I go to another country and see a ghost or spirit, will it comply with the local cultural expectations or that of my own expectations? If it's of my own expectations what if I'm in a group and there's a local citizen with us? What if my group is multi-national?
If it's regionals based will I recognize said ghost or spirit? Will they be as powerful if I'm oblivious to their abilities? Does my belief or lack of effect their influence of power on me or others in the group?
    I'm curious. Thanks Mike ❤

  15. There are also reports that you can escape the slit-mouth woman. When she takes off her mask, look at her blankly, then say she seems rather average to you. Confused by your lack of reaction, the ghost will freeze, while trying to figure the situation out. This is your chance to run to a place with a heavy door with solid locks. 😊

  16. There's a ghost story here in Guatemala that is similar to the first video about a ghost or spirit that appears to cheating husbands. Sadly I can't remember its name.
