4. They are so beautiful. I live in a coast redwood forest and this is their home. One of them caught on one of our trail cams was wearing a collar. We asked (tracking) authorities about it online and they told us that (considering the territory) they know who it extremely likely was. We've photographed/videoed another without a collar coming up the same path (& camera) along the creek. I once saw one in person while I was outside (just a few miles from home in this coastal mountain range). It was walking away from me and in my peripheral vision, I spotted a couple of deer and gathered that I'd likely interrupted someone's breakfast plans. I was so excited about my close encounter! I love these incredible beings!
