101 hacks that have no practical application
Bruh, the generic redstone timer that's been around for forever is literally 1 piece of redstone dust, 1 Redstone torch, 1 repeater, 1 lever and 1 blocks. Can't get cheaper than that.

I got a theory, but never tested it out, take two boats, one with you in it, animal in the other boat, hook up lead to you and the animal, fill both boats with a single villager each?
That boat trick works great for traps too. If you know that's how players are getting into bases. Make and outer wall and roof, and then an inner base. Fall, dripstone, lava moat. All good options for what's on the other side of that corner.
