  1. Dogs live in the moment so everything that happened before this woman adopted didn't matter. All that mattered was the love she gave Trixie, and that's what Trixie remembered until her last breathe. Bless you for taking in Trixie & adopting from a shelter another dog.

  2. Thank you for adopting and taking care Of Trixie
Those beautiful last 4 years are what she will remember in heaven until you get there to see her again. God bless

  3. OMG, I'm crying. But what a wonderful tribute to Trixie. I'm sorry for your loss. It is never easy when our fur-baby leaves us. Mine has been gone for over a year and I'm still grieving. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Thank you for giving Trixie her best life for her last 4 years. She was beautiful & full of joy, and she had so much love to give in return. You were the best mom. RIP Trixie. Thank you for adopting Rena in honor of Trixie.

  5. Thank-you for saving that dogs life. Although, I disagree with the family who would not keep that dog, because he had diabetes, I had a dog with diabetes and my veterinarian prescribed insulin for her. Do not expect animals to always be in perfect health because we are not always in perfect health either. Would you desert a family member or a friend because they have diabetes ? I don't think so. But, you are less inclined to take care of a dog with diabetes. It is not a disease. It's a condition, that even children have. All animals and people who have diabetes], do not use that as an excuse to abandon animals because you may abandon people , too. Marion Hunter

  6. I adopted a high-anxiety dog who was on trazadone. I weaned her off of it and with patience her tail un-tucked and she began to be a real dog. Now she sits on my lap and sleeps next to me. It is a blessing to have a dog that needs a little help come into your life. I think I got the better deal. Thank you for helping Trixie live out her life surrounded by love.

  7. I just lost my buddy of 15 yrs August 3 2023 he is missed deeply and God has giving me a new buddy of a 18 month old mastiff who i know will bring me joy and friendship again

  8. I’m so sorry for your loss but thank you so much for loving Trixie and caring for her so well! I’m sure you will be able to do the same for the other lovely dog!! ❤❤

  9. Thank you for saving dogs from shelters. You are their angel for giving them their best life as long as their alive. You are my hero!
