15. This was sadly also a common occurrence when I lived in Mexico. And people would scold me for not letting my dogs run free, trying to convince me I was denying them their freedom. 🙄

19. I found my little friend Buddy near an Interstate Highway before this could happen to him. He looked very much like this dog, and he was my great and loving friend for nearly 12 years.
