  1. Why not just put another light for turning left? This will make life simpler and safe. People would wait until the left arrow light turns into green, then go!

  2. Amen and glory to Christ. Thank you! I was right, vehicles making a left turn must yield to oncoming vehicles who are making a right turn. This is a huge problem at intersections, drivers who want to make a left turn refuse to yield to drivers who want to make a right turn.

  3. At 0:55 seconds.? Is it unlawful to go in the left lane if oncoming traffic is clear but one car infront is turning right?

Remember its a dedicated right turning lane for the car infront.

  4. Who goes first car turning into the left or car turning into the right? Last time I was turning on green light car turn left when I was turning at the same time that dient looked right 2 cars turning I saw your video thank you

  5. You forgot to mention if you're in the intersection waiting to turn and the light turns yellow and then red, you can't stay stopped in the intersection. You must turn. Once you enter the intersection you have the right to complete the turn while the traffic waits.

  6. Why turn into the left lane? Isn’t that the fast lane? In the UK, we turn into the left lane because it’s the standard lane and only use right for overtaking or turning right

  7. Intersections are so annoying. They are the cause of hours long traffic jams, especially in an overpopulated country like India. Just give us flyovers, man.

  8. UK person is here. In the UK at 01:26 when people go into a turning intersection or with a right or left turn lane at traffic lights then they can follow the vehicle in front as the intersection is more bigger than in USA I think

  9. Many experienced drivers still fail to understand some of the rules, left turns are a major cause of traffic accidents. Biggest takeaway is do not rush it, the worst case scenario is making the left turn after the light turned red which is perfectly fine as long as you are already in the intersection.

  10. This is so stupid. Just let one side of the road pass by, so those going straight go straight. Those going left go left. When the signal turns red, they stop and then the next bunch on the other sode of the road, their signal turns green and they do the same.

Check our UAE signals and traffic rules

  11. As this video says by the end… Bottom line… Get out INTO THE INTERSECTION for a left turn on a green light. You do not need the arrow, you can get out there so when the light turns yellow 3 VEHICLES (Three, Tre, Trois, III (Roman) 1+1+1 (Math)) get to make the left turn. Guess what, you can even do it on the blinking yellow arrow! It's ok! You can do it!!! DON'T sit behind the crosswalk, or edge your front tires over it, GET OUT THERE!!! Get your vehicle to the MIDPOINT of the INTERSECTION! Brought to you by your friendly neighborhood driving instructor.

  12. Impossible situation in Hong Kong traffic. There are ALWAYS dedicated turning lanes and traffic lights on a lane designed for turning traffic. When talking about the design of an intersection, when cars can go straight or turn, no interference traffic is allowed(pedestrian light will keep red too). Never will the collisions demonstrated in this video happen. I can't imagine why some countries would allow this(video) to happen…

  13. I am wondering if there was a car that wanted to turn left (as it was next to the truck) and wanted to turn into its designated lane (far right line perpendicular to the car that is red that wants to turn left) – if that is even supposed to happen where would the car in red in the video need to wait before he or she can turn left?
