Do you remember any of these disasters?
Nargis isn’t the costliest in the North Indian Ocean, it’s actually Amphan of 2020
Typhoon Lowyah hitting the Philippines was horrible. I heard about it.
Fitting that you did not include COVID pandemic, because it was man made – not a natural disaster.
11:04 not 11 pm but 11 am
kashmir is not Part of Pakistan
very Sadly now we can add another Disaster to this list… 2023 February , Turkey-Syria 7.8/7.5 earthquakes.
more than 44Thousand deaths
Typhoon Bopha was not the strongest storm to affect Philippines, it was the strongest to affect Mindanao though. The strongest to ever affect Philippines is undoubtfully Haiyan
2022 and 2023 usa east coast, midwest and west coast blizzards, ice storms, earthquake off the northern California coast and the bomb cyclones flooding California.
2022 was waaaay worse for heat
This is only putting deaths as a result for worst damage should also be counted such as black Saturday being much more destructive and notable than cyclone Nargis
Sad video but kashmir is not Part of Pakistan you noob I will sue you if you say that again
Hurricane Katrina, Harvey, Chile earthquake 2010?
Disaster's are man-made, not natural. Earthquakes are natural, and become disasters because of the way it intersects with society. Is an earthquake a disaster if it happens in Antartica?
You mean Asia's worst natural disasters? There is hardly any mention of anything in the Americas or Africa. The only reason asia has higher death counts is because there are more people, and poorly built houses than any other region of the world.
If you include animal life then the Australian bushfires of 2019/20 should be considered with something like 2 million animals losing their lives.
I am not sure why you are not including epidemics? They have caused the greatest loss of life throughout history.
Famines, as opposed to drought, of course are man made. So totally agree they should not be included.
East-south coast of India, bay of Bengal and south east asia is the worst place for natural disasters
Please do a video on the Worst Earthquake in human history
The Indian Ocean Tsunami 😔 I can still remember watching it on TV with disbelief…so sad ☹️
2013 North India floods. More than 6000 deaths after incessant rainfall and bursting of a glacier lake in the Himalaya.
It seems like South Asia and Indonesia are cursed to natural disasters 😥😥. I am glad that though I live in UP, India, there's never any severe natural disaster seen throughout History.
wow southeast and south asia have so many disasters, especially india and indonesia
1ST! RIP to all who died
