1983 in Film
Spread The Viralist

Journey through 1983 in Film with The Cinema Snob, as it was the year of Return of the Jedi, 3D films, Conan & Mad Max knockoffs, terrible sequels, two James Bond films, and tons of Cold War paranoia.

  3. Although these kinds of episodes will eventually be impossible to make anymore, the have become ones that I look forward to very much.

  4. I wasn't expecting it to be here, but one of my favorite movies is 1983's "A Duel to the Death." It's a pretty bad Chinese wire-work martial arts film with hilariously bad/over-the-top effects. (I said it was a favorite, not that it was good.) It is a foreign release, so, again, I wasn't expecting it to be here, but it would have been cool if it got a shout out.

  5. It's weird to know that there's A Richard Gere movie where he idolizes The Silver Surfer. I'm surprised Kevin Feige didn't give him A call yet.

  6. Congratulations on your upcoming fatherhood! I wish nothing but good vibes and blessing for you and your family! I bet that the kid will have a great time with Santachrist.
