What I saw in that 40 car pile-up was a LOT of disregard for road safety.
Heck, one car did not even take its foot off the gas at ALL at 3:17nor slow down whatsoever and had clear sight of what was ahead BUT instead hit the GAS before entering it.
Look at it.
It just amazes me how people can get licenses these days.

At 2:14— people not knowing how to drive in the SNOW in Wisconsin perfectly demonstrates that MAYBE 1 out of 100,000 people on the planet have the ability to operate a motor vehicle without killing themselves or someone else – Do you know that the DMV in California actually REMOVED the parallel parking test for issuing a drivers license because NOBODY had the ability to do it, but they give u a driver's license anyway-

Slowdown escape lanes is an amazing thing, my uncle is a trucker and once told me if those lanes did not exisists he would have been done for , he had lost his brakes and was barelling down the side of a mountain in germany at around 85 km/h which does not sound of much but in a truck it is scary af, as he panicked more and more he saw his chance coming up an escape lane which thankfully stopped him dead in his tracks less than 100 meters in.
I always try to avoid distractions while driving, but these videos make me want to double down on that effort.

That germantown pileup was caused by nothing but sheer incompetance. Common sense say cut you speed limit in half when the road is ice covered.

I learned when studying for my lisence, : keep SAFE FOLLOWING DISTANCE: APROX. THE SPACE BETWEEN 2 ELECTRIC POLES ALONG THE ROAD.
It seems Nobody has the courtesy or sense to keep this rule, always someone riding my vehicle's behind on every road. And I blame our police for not enforcing this rule… in fact? They themselves seem to disregard this rule!!!
Can tell by the internet comments, how we act on our roads and how we treat workers at the businesses we frequent that : people lack Compassion, understanding and common sense way too often.

There's no way that was from a cable , I thought that could be a cable the vans ran into then I watched it and changed my mind . I don't know what happened there but they didn't get hit with a broken cable the people there would have been sliced in half and the car would have been messed up big time , they also didn't run into a static cable running across the street.

About the airplane landing on highway 401: Highways are designed for emergency airplane landings. There is a mandate for straight sections of highway for this exact purpose.
If you are ever involved in those snow crashes on the highway, get your family and dogs and get the flock off the road immediately. No discussion.

There's no place safer to be in these condition but in a modern car or truck…they protect the occupants whereas standing out in lanes of traffic do not.
