Spread The Viralist

This week a major U.S. insurance company announced that it would no longer sell insurance in the hurricane-prone state of Florida. As natural disasters continue to wreak havoc in Canada, will we start to see insurance providers pull out of certain Canadian regions too?

  1. Of course insurance companies want to keep the money in their pocket than hand it out. It's all a big scam. Plus most insurance probably have an act of God clause so they don't have to pay out on damage from natural events. Lol what a scam. Your better off saving your own money for that rainy day.

  2. Also people should rake responsibility when they build/buy housing in high risk areas.
For example l, Want to live next to the river but be ready to be flooded from time to time…

  3. Eventually they'll refuse anybody not tied to THE SYSTEM.

So, if one is a major conglomerate insurance will not be an issue.

If one is a small unit farmer and climate change(the catch-all for refusal) you will be denied insurance or the cost will be too prohibitive.

Wait till they jack the insurance on gas powered vehicles(which is also coming).

  4. AKA: "Your properties are overpriced, and your possible insurance payout would put us underwater, So we're takin' the money and runnin'!"

  5. Don’t buy properties on a low lying coastline, or a flood plain. That’s lesson 1. I would be wary about buying in areas of Canada drying out due to global warming. Unfortunately that’s a huge swath of forested area.

  6. In NSW Aust I pay home insurance and 1/3 funds the state fire service like rural and town fire fighters. Councils also fund 11percent from rate payers. People that have no insurance still get the same service. It should be a property tax

  7. People will migrate north as those places become habitable. Not great but the worst part is that it will probably mostly be Americans as we become annexed.

  8. Weather events are getting more extreme because of Climate Change.
How extreme does the weather have to get before governments and corporations wake up and stop adding more fossil fuels to the climate fire.
There is a Climate Crisis. We need Climate Action NOW !

  9. Climate Change and rising sea levels will make coastal properties and low lying areas impossible to sell or insure.
Banks and insurance companies will not want to take the risk in the future.
People will not be able to sell coastal properties if no one can get a loan or insurance.
Migration will move people away from coastal and low lying areas.
Covid deniers and climate change deniers are the same. Both do not believe in science and experts.
People are selfish and don't want to be bothered with restrictions.
The cost to the economy and individuals will be huge.We need Climate Action NOW.

  10. So people can’t afford or even get insurance or a mortgage, cost of home ownership will become too expensive and people will lose their homes and get herded into ‘ 15 minute smart cities’. Farms will be taken out of production for the “green agenda”. Food will become unaffordable (except for bugs of course) . Central bank digital currency can be ushered in and utilized for universal basic income to meet your basic approved needs. Looks like everything is going according to plan for Klaus Schwab. You will own nothing and you will be happy, right on schedule.🤦🏼‍♀️
