I’ve built a billion dollar company and for as much success as I’ve seen in my life, I’ve seen triple the amount of failures. When it comes to doing hard things, getting absolutely and totally obsessed with what I am after and doing so with unrelenting focus day after day, I can outlast and outperform anyone.

You’re not going to achieve this level of success being weak and not absolutely sure about what you want to accomplish. Because I’ve been to the other side of the rainbow, I can tell you the pot of gold you’re after isn’t worth anything if you don’t prioritize chasing fulfillment first.

If you want to get ahead of the 99% of people that say they want to succeed but never actually do anything to succeed this episode is the juice you need to:

– Become mentally tougher. You’re going to adapt or die
– Say f*ck goals, learn how to want it bad enough to do what it takes on the days it sucks
– Avoid habits that stand between you and the good life

QUOTES:

“Go at it like a freak of nature.”

“You are average, but you can get better. Go f*cking learn.”

“When you go that hard everything will relent to your superior will.”

“The most terrifying thing about excuses it that they are valid.”

“I’m not smarter than the average person, but man, I am way harder to break.”

“It’s right when it moves you towards your goals and it’s wrong when it moves you away.”

“You need a maniacal focus, you need to be lasered in on one thing and you do it to the abstraction of everything else and you do it obsessively to the point where everything else in your life ideally is falling apart…”

  2. This video was powerful- straight talk, no fluff. Tom, thank you for sharing your wisdom, knowledge, routines and practices with us.

  3. Thank u, Tom! You have been a great mentor for me, your spiritual daughter. I love the way that u & Lisa thinks & view life. Keep it up! Many has benefited from both of u. Big Hugh’s & High Five! 🤗

  4. I'm getting a little sick of this dude men are weak he's weak for not having any kids probably cuz his wife said she didn't want to!

  5. Blading is so you're body area is reduces so something is less likely to hit you. This is a naturally stance for dodging. But if you wanna be that guy, go on.

  6. Solid. only seen the 1st ten seconds know ive seen enough. Used to dislike this Tom but now i thibk hes the Brady of Podcast….. Even surpassing Londonreal.

  7. Dude Tom, you are an animal. Thee fire I see in you man is contagious. I wish I could afford your class or whatever. I know for a fact it would change my life completely

  8. This is So good !!! Very very good !! When Truth come through to elevate your Whole being.. The secret unleashed.
I'm am so about to share

  9. Tom: I'm over here "manning up" on my comfy faux Florence Knoll chair, while you make do on folding chairs. Me: My ass is going numb just (edit: trying to receive) receiving this "encouragement." lol

  10. Spot on Tom…early in life knew I did not want children because I thought through my plan for life and recognized that I could not raise children in the way I was raised (in a very blessed way) and have a career as well (subcontracting children to nannies and caretakers is definitely an option that I cannot criticize however I knew it was not for me.) I know it can sound selfish, yet it really is selfless. I have the privilege of helping friends' and family's kids as well as mentoring so many others.

  11. Nice video! Got me to sign up for a trial of ITU . Would have been nice to get an introduction of your 3 interviewers- are they your interns?

  12. If having kids would be the one and only reason and intend nature has – things would be way way easier! I love your energy and talks but see the time when you will be brought back to your knees again to begin your spiritual journey. As a good friend once said : the first 50 years is about learning how to build up and making your stand in this existence and the second half is learning to let go everything and giving in to the unevitable. And the first half is much easier as hard as it seems!

  13. A powerful and motivating video that challenges viewers to embrace the mindset of adaptability, overcome obstacles, and push past their comfort zones in order to achieve extraordinary success and separate themselves from the majority.

  14. Tom – you are good – excellent in fact. I was with this channel with less than 500K. But I disagree with you in a key area. You (meaning you, Tom) can have kids and what that looks like is up to you. You have more money than me but as a upper-class father I can tell you this: kids are where the true joy comes in. Alongside a spouse that loves you (which you clearly have), nothing beats kids. I do see you evolving in this area, so one day, I hope it happens.
