Today we all celebrate moms – the ones who are with us and those who are not. The job of a mom is a tough one, just like it was for Giselle, who had given birth to 8 puppies out on the streets of Compton.
Giselle got to see five of her babies being taken away by people, and then she got to see one get hit by a car and die. The last two puppies, Ophelia and Philomena, never allowed Loreta Frankonyte or me to pet them… they cautiously approached to take food from us, and then they would retreat.
In cases like this, it is critical to get the most challenging dog first (the mom) and only then get the babies. As you can see in this video, we could have had the babies very quickly, but I couldn’t risk spooking the mom and losing her forever.
On day 2 of this rescue, Loreta and I arrived in two separate cars; we brought ALL our equipment, spent a couple of hours setting up this rescue, and then it DID NOT go as expected!!! 😄
We always have to improvise as we go and I hope you will enjoy this video.

Oamenii au uitat de mult ca fără animale exigenta noastră ar fi fost imposibila, deaceia iubesc oamenii care mai au ceva suflet. Voi sunteți printre rămași! Your mom would be so proud and pleased to see this rescue, and the way you won the hearts of these three dear souls, in fact she is there with you in all you do, all the time. When you were giving the mother a bath, you could see in her eyes, that she has gone through a lot and she had no idea how to carry the responsibility of her puppies on her own if you did not come around to save them. You gave this family a second chance to live. Hallelujah to you ❤️

I had a German Shepherd for Christmas I loved him so much but unfortunately he didn’t like my step dad and bit a hole through his hand and we had to give him to other people because I had a baby brother on the way and we didn’t want him to die from being bitten I still love German Shepherds there cute and when I am old enough to have a house and get a dog I am taking my cat with me and getting a german shepherd and nameing it nacho because the next Christmas after my dog rocket had to be given away I got a stuffed dog that looked real I still have it and I will never get ride of it and I also wish I had one of my dog sky but in memory of her I have otter her baby that we rescued from suffocating I’m so happy we have her but sad that sky died 2 years later 😢
