Sport Glide Bassani Road Rage 3 Install

Sport Glide Bassani Road Rage 3 Install
Spread The Viralist

Installing the Bassani Road Rage 3 exhaust on my new 2018 Sportglide. The bike was tuned with the Dynojet Powervision, using fuelmoto tuning. This is my first attempt at making a youtube worthy video. Please let me know what y’all think and please ask any questions about any of the products I use.

I will post an update video with the reaction after I can give the bike full throttle. (At 500 Miles)

  1. Just ordered mine before they were DISCONTINUED! I think it's cause people were complaining about it scrapping on low turns. Have u had this issue?

  2. if you want to destroy the heat sheild on medium right handers .. these are the pipes for you .. BASSANI !!! didnt do your homework there did you ?????

  3. I ve had my Bassani on for 4 weeks now, first time out the gate riding it getting off the interstate right hand lean, scraped the bottom of the pipe…..However I was so gitty at the sound and how much more responsive the bike was i just laughed.
Now after having ridden it many times and scraping more and more I’m finding it’s pretty disappointingly dangerous as I’ve been cornering and I’ve come up off the ground, sliding in turn on my pipe.
I’m sure you’ve experienced this? Or did i do a bad install?

  4. Great first video mate, very pro, and I love the Sport Glide.
love to hear how it goes on a tight right hand turn, the bottom of pipes look lower than your pegs .
I'm a new sub, keep them coming

  5. Nice Vid. Just wondering was it necessary to have to remove the breather cover and all the heat shields ,when only changing the slip-on? I was thinking maybe the muffler heat shield, but not all that other. No disrespect meant.

  6. great video. I'm going to be helping my buddy install this exhaust on his 2019 sport glide. I have a question, what happens if you do not tune it?

  7. Good video. Nice pipes too! Did you see the video of the British guy that did the exact same install on exact same bike and had a problem of the pipe scraping the ground on leans?

  8. Exhaust. modification in calif is a 900 dollar ticket, But don't worry its not a fix it ticket. So in short the cops can write you a ticket every time they see you….. I went with the screaming eagle and stage II fast and load…

  9. They would have put on a better pipe if they didn't have to worry about the EPA. Since you are not legal in any state now because it's made for off-road use only.
I have the road rage on my 18 Fatboy 114 and I will be changing it to a D&D once we add the big bore kit to make it a 124. I hate to take off the Bassani but the D&D is the only pipe that works with the 124 on the Fatboy. That's what the guys say from R&D at Fuel Moto.
Bassani sounds so good, one of the best sounding pipes on the Market today.

  10. Why must one have to manually adjust the rear suspension? All I gotta do on my BMW is press a button for the same feature. I also dont risk burning my hand as the knob is DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE EXHAUST PIPE! Mind you my BMW is a 2009, when is the Motor Company going to "get with the times?"

  11. Looking forward to more content man I currently ride a Iron 1200 and wanting to upgrade to the sport glide one day soon. Videos like this gives me future ideas thanks for posting and sharing the experience with all of us in the MC community.

  12. I have an 18 Sport Glide and am concerned the short pipe would facilitate a hot zone under the saddle bag causing it to melt. Have you seen any aftermarket exhaust that’s the same length as the original component? Thank you for posting the video, very enjoyable and I’m looking forward to future tips on upgrades to this awesome ride. ✌🏻😎

  13. I had a FLSB and I agree, they should have put a better exhaust on it, at least for sound. I will also forewarn you that those rims are a devil to keep clean, but man, it’s such a great bike. Making YouTube videos is harder than it looks! Good first attempt! Are you going to do an air cleaner as well? I found the stock one is fairly restrictive
