Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiast. I contact each person who send me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up what happened after what we see on their video. Voice over and captions are added to describe what happened, and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.

From the footage and additional information, a viewer can learn the consequences of bad driving and can educate his/her self with better driving safety. This process also gives the videos a great educational value. It is my desire to add my own unique and creative value in a transformative way to ensure you enjoy and learn from the videos being presented.

  1. but the thing is … with the second video….. i meant… you can already see cars were staying in line really long even far away but auto pilot .. can't anticipate or expact traffic jam unlike human… i meant why people do not slow down and just keep turning on auto pilot then get in line … i don't understand… auto pilot is not perfect system … you have to at least watch front when you drive ….sigh…

  2. Regarding clip #2 with Ean… whats the matter with drivers like him? Are you guys not paying any attention further out than maybe 10 meters in front? That slow traffic was visible from like half a mile away! And yet he and that idiot in front of him nearly crashed into the car(s) ahead!
If traffic gets tight ahead or the situation becomes unclear you slow down! You dont keep pushing until literally the last moment!
I´m beginning to see where the issues with phantom braking on Teslas is coming from… if Tesla configures their cars based on user data its no wonder the system occasionally messes up when its based on driving data from people that apparently think "headless chicken" is the way to go.
When you´re driving you pay. the. fuck. attention! Advanced safety systems are there to support you not do your job for you.

  3. 2:45 I have a chevy that did this. Doesn't have autopilot nor did it cost any extra. Comes with the base model. I dont think people should ride tesla like its phenomenal when realistically its good, but flawed and average.

  4. In the coming years, people will forget how to drive a car. Thanks to Tesla and like companies for creating such sophisticated AI to avoid significant accidents. Keeping in mind the poor traffic system, congestion and accidents in the cities, there is a high demand for such technologies in India as well.

  5. Tesla autopilot or the safety collisions are very hard to predict in Malaysia as many drivers are driving recklessly and the system/AI couldnt respond as quick as their action. I witness a Tesla bumped into a divider at a long corner road , i guess the sensor thinks that divider is an obstacles so it brakes hard and sharp left turn. Luckily no one gets hurt

  6. This just shows me that some Tesla drivers dont pay attention while driving and can often avoid accidents if they were. I take this video to say that Tesla drivers are dangerous.

  7. Most of the comments here are just confirming what we already know about humans – human error/user error. Yes, I know drivers should be focused at all times, but the human brain is still only a mono processor, so we are EASILY distracted and cannot perform two thought processes at once, by nature or design, take your pick. We need the help of other processors that perform the simple tasks we epically fail at so we can continue solving complex problems. Don't be embarrassed to ask for help, that's why Auto Pilot exists…we need all the help we can get. 😅

  8. In situation 12: what if a vehicle was just behind the Tesla: would Autopilot stop to avoid the turkey or run it over to avoid the collision. I know what I would do 😅

  9. Tesla kills 13 while on autopilot. Inclusion of 2 doctors killed by Tesla. Look them up. Tesla autopilot banned in most countries as it is dangerous

  10. I was using Autopilot FSD on my Model X Plaid on Sunday. Going southbound on I-880 approaching the fork where there were three lanes, left land was headed to I-680 East and right lane was headed to I-880 South. The middle lane was a fork / split lane that one could chose going either left for I-680 East or I-880 South. The car was undecisive. It first steered to the left, which was the intented path due to my set destination. However, it suddenly steered back to the right, trying to go I-880 South, then it changed to the left again, and suddenly it was approaching the central divider, the steering wheel cleared turned to the right again and we almost hit the central divider, which was about 40-50 feet away and we were travelling at 45 mph following the traffic in front. Luckily, I always stayed alert for the entire trip. Autopilot is still not there yet. It may save lives in some situations, it still can cost lives in other situations. Especially when it rain too, the message comes up frequently, "the right side camera is blocked, … " or "the left side camera is blocked, FSD is not available." So, it still need a lot of time to perfect the system. It is far from good enough to be 100 percent hands-off experience. And, that is why Tesla is upgrading also the cameras to 5 mega-pixels starting this year from the previous 2 mp cameras. So, please do not get overly confident of the system which a lot of people here sound like they are.

  11. most of these can be avoided by proper driving disciplines: checking blind spots, proper distance, etc.

  12. hope that electric garbage dissapear soon
4 what a nonsense about overtake on right! every country have own laws. In Poland – you can take over on right if is more than two lanes in one direction – like on 3 lines high way – like in this situation, and left line is for overtake – if you ride slow you have ride on right.
    5 blind both drivers
    6 nothing special
7 driver fault – why fhe dont looks on left?
8 – another blind driver – so many time to reaction!
9 – autopilot want to kill you if youre idiot
    10 – another sleeping driver
11 – avoid what? so many time and space – lol
    14 – hahahaha
Tesla "drivers" are so naive and dangerous!

  13. Truck drivers can kick rocks they think they can just bully anyone cuz they got big heavy vehicles. Wish they started making their violations more severe or even criminal maybe they would stop being assholes
