two years ago we adopted a straight dog from a shelter, she was in foster care with friends of us and she was so scared of everything , except her fostermom and … our border collie .
they goofed around in the garden like they were soulsisters. did there zoomies till they were out of breath … we did not have plans to adopt a second dog so we went for walks and had her over for play dates 🙂 we finally made the decision to adopt here and on the 6th of december 2021 she was ours.
we had to be so patient with her . she followed the border collie like her live depended on it , well maybe thats what it was… now they are inseparable, and we didn't have to teach her a thing , she just copied what the colli did 🙂 now she is beautiful doggy who loved to cuddle play run and goof around 🙂

The first thing that my rescue dog did was to bite me, and draw blood. 5 minutes later he was in my lap giving me kisses. He's the happiest boy in the world now.

I love happy stories about rescue dogs. I've been working with dog rescue for 25 years. I could not even guessed the number of dogs that I have picked up and know 25 years and help find them a new home.
I always talk to all of that and explained that I wasn't there for the first part of their life now I will be there for the rest of their lives and from this point on I can guarantee you will have a wonderful life.
I wish you and your babies a wonderful Life. Just remember how much you love ice cream your baby does also. I buy the doggy ice cream from the grocery store. Once-a-week everybody gets one.
