12. I adopted a rescue stray cat who would also flinch away if I raised my hand or moved too fast. It was pretty obvious he'd either been abused by his owner or constantly driven away by angry homeowners if he trespassed in their houses or yards. It's a good feeling when an animal starts to recover from such fearful reactions.

I adopted a pit that people used him has a bait dog and tied him up on a chain for 8 years he was the best dog in the world .Now I have two pitbulls I think they are the best dogs .I foster dogs witch most are pitbulls and I love that my dogs help me show these dogs that they are now safe because they have been abuse and neglected my dog welcome them

21. Running in the snow with his snowsuit on is so cute. This lady though is probably not the best fit for him. She is anthropomorphizing him, dogs live in the moment, their past is irrelevant. All they need is a proper pack leader and any behavioral issue can be fixed almost immediately.

22. He's so adorable just a sweet guy my goodness I wished there was more repercussions for animal abuse, ya got to be a freaking heartless psychopath to hurt animals, children,special needs and the elderly and there should be no tolerance for such.

27. I think it is so sad what people can do to certain dogs that hurt them. I hope there is a special place in Hell for them. I love all animals and what you did for this precious dog was what I believe every dog deserves. My dog is sick and I have spoiled her beyond belief. She is 13 and has been the most wonderful and fun dog. She has brought me so much happiness through the years. I don't care if she has done something wrong. I will never hurt her.

29. What a beautiful story. Amazing what love can do. We rescued a beautiful pit bull that was also a bait dog that showed up on our doorstep. His story was not a happy ending. He could not be rehabilitated no matter what we tried, even with professional help. It broke my heart.

43. Dogs suffer so much at the hands of bad people. People like this girl make the balance tip to the good. Dogs are more worthy of our love than we are of theirs.
