Dozens of households flooded in Alba following strong floods caused by torrential rains
Several dozen households in several towns in Alba were affected by torrential rains that occurred on Sunday evening. Also, streets and roads were blocked and two towns were left without electricity.

Dozens of houses or basements were flooded, Sunday evening, in the town of Şard, following the overflow of the Ighiu, Ighiel and Ţelna water courses, other basements, including some blocks, being in the same situation in the municipalities of Alba Iulia and Blaj, due to the inability rainwater collection system.

According to an assessment sent on Monday morning by the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Alba, in the village of Şard, Ighiu commune, the Ighiu, Ighiel and Ţelna watercourses overflowed, causing a rapid flood, which affected approximately 80 households , of which about 40 houses or basements.
