Which was the most horrific airline disaster for you, and why?
Wtf rest in peace to all family
My wife and I worked for a company called BMSCAT and we went and worked that plane crash in San Francisco in 2013 it was a horrific sight to behold I walked over where that girl had gotten run over we couldn't wear any jewelry watches cell phones cameras wallets nothing on our person at all
Have you heard of Alaska Airlines Flight 261? An Alaska Airlines Flight 261 Plane took off And a trim broke and the jackscrew came loose which made the plane inverted and go down but an American Airline Express Plane saw the Alaskan Plane so they quickly called the ATC (Air Traffic Controller) to keep an eye out on the jet, they watch the Plane until it crashed to the Pacific Sea, The Searchers found 4 bodies, a man, 2 women, and a infant, Pilot Thompson last words was Ah, Here We Go
This sort of pilot is a rare beast .A totally professional pilot captain Sully and his crew this just go to show the world that you will never ever beat experience and i don't care what profession that i am talking about its just a simple fact .You will never beat experience .Well done .I know that this took place many years ago but companies still overlook experience over youth .
With the SF flight does anyone remember the intern putting out false names on the crew and it was aired on the news? One name was Wee Tu Lo. I think another was Sum Tin Wong.
Imagine calling 911 and saying "a plane hit my car"! 😂
I bet the operator was thinking they were going to need to act as a psychiatrist on that call when it first came in.
Despite what you may believe AF4590 wasnt the first accident Concorde ever had. How ever is was the first accident in which there were fatalities. F-BVFA (The Concorde now sitting at Dulles Air and Space museum) was one of the first accidents in concordes history. She ironically burst a tire at Dulles international airport
Captain Sully would ALWAYS be my Captain of choice or someone like him that has a lot of experience!!
Mentour Pilot’s videos are so good ✈️
I feel that they should have swept the runway before every flight of the concor. That jet moved at supersonic speed, there's no room for error.
Transasia because my friend died in it
Mostly fake footage. It's just to give a more catastrophic event; as if the event itself were not.
Collector of likes that does not add anything.
Odd they would shut down the Concorde over something that wasn't the aircraft's fault.
That second one, my god, they went through the whole final destination phase☹
The beginning of the video legitimately just made me have an epileptic seizure wasn’t expecting that🤣🙃 I know it wasn’t anyones fault I just wanted to comment that
The young girl was spotted on the ground , so why was she not protected . I can't believe what i heard happened ! . . . Concorde crashed on my 40th birthday . . .
Sully, great job in a bad situation. The FAA grilled him too agressively on their investigation.
This is why being faster than light can leave you in dangerous darkness
They'll leave us in awe and shock? George W Bush, is that you?!? 😂😂
Hi, the Concorde accident was all the environmentalist needed to forever ground the aircraft. Never mind the 25 years or so of NO FATAL ACCIDENTS!!!!
Speaking of plane disasters caught on camera, how about Ethiopian Airlines flight 961 that crashed in front of tourists on a beach in the Indian Ocean?
The Concorde was the most dramatic. It was the end of that storied aircraft. I always hoped to fly on one. As for Asiana 214, I had taken the particular flight into SF several times and was shocked to see the accident on television and heard the flight number.
Yes it is tragic about the girl being run over. The fact that the responders left her there unattended falls under two categories:
1- Negligence from inadequate training and response protocols
2- Likely to have been mortally wounded and others could be saved so it’s go-go-GO!
I can’t imagine how anyone would survive being thrown from a crashing plane without suffering massive and deadly internal injuries.
Yes, the autopsy report states she was alive at the time of being run over, but sadly we will never know to what extent her crash injuries would have been or if they alone would be imminently fatal.😞
Concorde was a very sad event.
Unbelievable! Running over the Young Lady. C'mon!!!!!! Pay attention!!!!!! May She Already Be In Our HOLY MAKER'S PLACE AND MORE Alive Than All Of Us All Together in the flesh still, Now In The Spirit we are Brought here from in the Elements of Holiness and Whole, Amen.
She did not die from being run over, she was already deceased.
Great facts
You earned a sun
All of them. This is why I don't fly!😬
Concord crash was the 1st of this plane, although the Russian version had a crash before this. The grounding of this plane after this crash was not what caused the Concord to stop service, but the cost of fuel ended the Concord. It's smaller cabin and less passenger capacity made the Concord to expensive to operate. If you got on a regular flight to London, and your friend took the Concord, you could leave 2 hours ahead of him, and he would be at the airport in London waiting on you. To bad they haven't built another larger Concord type aircraft, it's safety record before this crash was perfect.
Too much fluff.
Why does the dashboard camera video of the Concorde accident look weird or fake?
The San Francisco crash is amazing. 3 dead ? That plane broke up for God's sake. Or have I got my facts mixed up ? Astonishing. Definitely pilot error unfortunately. Not much wrong with that plane. Initially. Still though for me the Concorde is possibly the sadest case. A very sad ending. Tragic.
Adding to comments elsewhere here. I haven't seen the other accidents yet. However the Concorde always lingers in the mind. Such a great plane. A sad and pathetic ending. Why was there debris on the runway ? The ground crew at the airport should be checking the runway. Don't ground the plane. No. They needed a reason. The Concorde was a very expensive machine. Only 2 companies ran this amazing machine. It's time was running out. I think that is the real reason possibly. Hmmm……
The Concord itself wasnt to blame. It was the failure of the ground crew at the airport for not ensuring the runway was clear. They blamed the plane because it was too expensive to fly it. Disgraceful. It was the most beautiful airplane
That poor Girl, survived the crash but got ran over twice and died. Damn :(((( RIP
Didn't the tree hugger earth worshippers wanna get rid of Concord anyhow?
Concorde disaster
Glad you credited Mentour Pilot, he does some excellent videos. You did a great job with these terrifying incidents, well done. New sub here.
Edit. I had no idea about that poor girl, what a terrible shame.
That Concorde animation was definitely one of the most horrific things I've ever seen…
Fuck those responders that killed that girl. I hope you burn in hell. WHY THE FUCK DID YOU NOT RESCUE HER FIRST? I'm glad they sued. Know what FUCK YOU to all the responders that were called & responded. You're ALL just as fucking guilty.
Am fed up with Sully tbh
When you realise you’re no longer watching repeats and these have all happened since…. Never getting on an airplane ever
2:50 bro just woke up to see that. what a poor old bloke!
4:33 can't stop laughing… is that okay?
