  1. Animals are so much friendlier and smarter than we know. There's a black vulture in my area that always comes to visit me. He was a little nervous at first but I started talking to him in a friendly (but not baby) voice. I would say "hi handsome, how are you?" He comes by once a week now. I'll talk to him through my car window and he makes friendly noises in return. They aren't really vocal birds, so he does these little air woofs. According to vulture behavior those are positive sounds.
