I havent checked if quest 3 is out yet, although i saw 256 gb quest 2 was on sale foe 350. (I unfortunately own 64 occulus quest 2 which isn't even made anymore, only 128 and 256 now) any ways Id take that deal anyone whos interested in vr.
Anysway time to make my point, the Apple headset is currently 10 times the price of the quest 2. Quest is a fucking workhorse and i love it to bits. Sure occulus developong alot of technology for VR was important to VR being not just a FAD but the quest being so reasonable indeed good deals is also very reasonable as well. Quest is honestly a great deal that physical smile from, Apple deal is.very much a deal I'd never do. 1000 dollars is my max and it better be fucking good cause I don't necessarily feel comfortable spending that much now, i could but not comfortably.
3500 is ridiculous, side note night visone on the quest 3 pass through mode or the apple would be cool….wouldn't make me get the apple VR but it be cool and justify the 3500 price tag a little. If the quest 3 had it while only costing 500 bucks well I'm a little worried it be a trap desinged to kill me but I'd get it pretty quickly.
