  1. I feel like rescue pits are the sweetest dogs in the world that will love beyond love! They are amazing! Thank you for the rescue. Thank you for believing in love when our world is so cold. Saying you shouldnโ€™t love a specific dog breed is kind of like saying not to love your neighbor because theyโ€™re different from you.

  2. That kind and brave woman recognized that natural selection is NOT standing by and watching a dog be hit by a car and suffer until he dies all alone. This is why there are so many dogs abandoned in the South, like their lives are meaningless and not worth saving. My two rescue dogs were abandoned in the South and now live happy lives in a home, not hit by a car and left to suffer. Bravo to this woman and all those who helped him find a home. ๐Ÿ’™

  3. Thank you ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ PitBulls ans BullTerrers are the most misunderstood and exploited dogs and get such bad press-and treatment as a result.

  4. Those people who judge any dog but specifically pitties harshly just by their preconceived ignorance truly sicken my stomach.
God Bless you for MANY years with Polo. He's a very BEAUTIFUL, GENTLE and PRECIOUS little boy.

  5. How ridiculas some people are saying don't help him because he's a pitbull, he's lovely don't judge a dog because of its breed and don't judge a person because of their colour or where they come from, this dog is adorable I'm glad you never listened to those ignorant people โค๏ธ

  6. God bless you trillions time for saving poor very cute dog Polo thank you very much for not listening for the very bad heartless people who told you to leave him you are an angel of mercy kind๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ‘ผand hero

  7. Years ago, I didnโ€™t know much about pitties & heard all the usual horror stories. Over time, I came to realise just how much these beautiful dogs are unfairly vilified. With a loving home & responsible training, these are some of the most loving & loyal of all dogs. Thank you for saving precious Polo. Heโ€™s so beautiful & Iโ€™m so happy to see him so loved & appreciated! ๐Ÿ’•

  8. Natural selection, when it s a man who dumped him?? What a load of crap. Some ppl are really not afraid of being stupid, oh wait, THAT is natural selection!๐Ÿ˜‚
Thank u for not caring about what ppl think๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. Those people who said to leave him are ignorant! Thank you for helping him! So proud of another person from Massachusetts who has a brain and a heart! WELL DONE! Hug him for me!

  10. Thank you for rescuing him! I live in Alabama and I know how horrible it is for animals that end up being strays or dumped.๐Ÿ˜ข

  11. Natural selection? That for wild animals out in the wild like birds and mammals and amphibians and insects not domesticated abandoned dumped dogs or cats .. and / or other animals that have been raised in by another human then left abused and dumped. It's bot natural selection then folks. That's called animal abuse and irresponsibility. Thank you fir not listening to ppl who would leave him because of his breed. He's a very intelligent dog ๐Ÿถ ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿฉท who eben knew how to make other snakl dogs around him not feel threatened by crawling on the floor to them. Ahh what an angel! ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿชฝ

  12. Excuse my French but F*CK "natural selection". We've bred these animals to a point where there is nothing natural about them. That coat isn't found out in wolves or any other wild canine breed. Any other breed and people jump over each other to save it. But heaven help you if it's a pibble. ๐Ÿ™„ Humanity pisses me off so much.

  13. What a wonderful kind Woman U are. Pitbulls can be just as affectionate & fabulous as any other dog . All Animals must be treated with love, respect & kindness & most of the time it works! I hate to think what cud happen to him if he had been left there!! Most Animals are very forgiving unlike Humans

  14. As someone who spent the majority of their childhood with an adorable 80-pound rescue Pibble, I was always shocked when people would be fearful of him, or pit bulls in general. Like…how could people be scared of my little land hippo? The dog who, whenever I was feeling down, would let me hug the stuffing out of him and just let it happen.

And now, with all these years of people raising awareness of how cute and sweet they are, to still have people think a dog should be left to die because he's a Pittie…I still just can't fathom it. They're sweet, precious, loving…and I see them as very beautiful dogs. It's just sad to see that there is still that discrimination. And to see any dog abandoned and unfixed…it's just…you can't believe that actual humans do that crap. It's just monsterous. Pets are not the same thing as their wild counterparts. They need the care of a human. And they're not trash to be discarded when they're no longer "useful."

  15. What a handsome boy he is You both hit the jackpot finding each other It was meant to be
Thank You for giving him the Best home ๐Ÿก ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

  16. Pits are the most wonderful dogs. They do not deserve the reputation the people give them. They deserve a second chance. Thank you so much for what you did for him. You're both so fortunate to have found each other. Thank you for the story

  17. Iโ€™m glad you took the chance on this dog. I had a Pit-Mix who looked almost exactly like this. He was a rescue too. Heโ€™s passed away but Iโ€™ll always remember him for his easygoing temperament and endless amount of energy.

  18. "I was raised with pitties and they never hurt me," isn't compelling evidence that they're a harmless breed, when the statistics are clear that they are the most likely breed to maul you or your kids to death. This statistic doesn't even count all the maulings they commit that didn't result in murder, nor the countless small animals that they maul to death each year, only the humans that died, and this is proof enough alone that these monsters aren't innocent. They're Frankenbeasts bred to kill, and only the winners of pit fights were allowed to breed. They are dangerous to humans and animals, like it or not. "During the 16-year period of 2005 to 2020, canines killed 568 Americans. Two dog breeds, pit bulls (380) and rottweilers (51), contributed to 76% (431) of these deaths. 37 different dog breeds were involved in the remaining fatal dog mauling's."

  19. God bless you for saving this adorable sweet boyโ€™โ€™s life. He is such a happy fella and so loving and gentle. I donโ€™t think he could be this happy with anyone else. You were made for each other. May you all have a long , happy and healthy life with him and all your fur babies โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฆด

  20. Thank goodness for your kindnessโคand believing in this beautiful dog. Itโ€™s not the breed itโ€™s the horrible people who abuse them.

  21. Talk about fate. But honestly, I would have done the exact same thing most definitely.
I have a pit and I know how lovely and a blob of compassion that they truly are. Never fear the dog, fear the people that made them like that.
He is such a handsome pooch.

  22. That's one lucky dog. Being left at the side of the road is cruelty, not natural selection. What this woman did WAS natural selection. She naturally selected a dog that was in need of love and a family.๐Ÿ˜†

  23. I do dog sitting for extra money. My neighbor had to large grown pit bulls and said no one would take care of them so I told I would do it. The male is huge but when I put his food down he stood on my foot so I wouldn't leave. What a sweetheart.
Another lost his dog and a friend called me and said he had a guy who couldn't keep his pit bull wanted him a good home and now my friend has the sweetest, kind, smart dig he's ever owned.

  24. Thank God for people like you. Years ago my son decided to for a change come to dim sum with me to meet my friend but when I got close to place a pittie was running up to cars and sort of chasing them. My son was like "mom there is a dog. Don't hit it. We need to help" and I was like "I'm going to". I pulled my car over as this dog would be running up to passenger side windows and trying to jump in. Lots of people yelled at me to control my dog. I said he wasn't mine. They told me to send him to animal control or get rid of him. I said I wasn't doing that. We called the dog over and he was wagging his tail. I opened our car door and had him jump in and then closed the door to gage his reaction. He wanted out but not aggressive. I went to tell my friend we were going to look for dogs home but I had told my son to remain outside of the car. I got back and another man was there and I asked him "is this your dog?" He said "yes" I told him I wasn't trying to steal his dog and explained the situation. He knew I was telling the truth because he had left his house and I guess he had the door of his house open or thought dog could not get out front door. His friend called him to say your dog just jumped the fence and his jumping over other peoples fences to get over to you. The friend got ahold of the guy after the friend was already four or 10 blocks. In that time the dog was trying to hope in others peoples cars. The guy thanked us and I asked him for the dogs name. The dogs name was check! So check that I thought! The dog is back with his owner. I think his name was spelled Chek. I also believe the guy said it was the first blue nose pittie he had ever owned. I can't remember if he had had other breeds before but I think he did because he said about this dog he wasn't expecting these kind of actions.

  25. What handsome pittie! Even after being dumped by a highway in a collar that was obviously too small and definitely neglected by the sub-humans who did it, Polo still trusted this kind woman and seems to love everyone he meets. Heโ€™s a very special dog and Iโ€™m glad he gets to live his best life, Grandpa Days and all. I wish them many happy years together.
That alone is the best revenge on the sub-humans who left him by that highway, probably hoping heโ€™d just be killed by a car.

  26. It Really Irritates me when people Malign certain breeds of dogs!
Especially Pittis! They are Sweet Loving Loyal Protective Cuddle Bugs!
Wake Up people, it's NOT the Animals ๐Ÿคจ 99% of the time
It's the Humans that mistreat them.
Use them, Abuse them, and then just throw them away like so much trash. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก
THANK YOU for KNOWING BETTER THAN THAT! ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿ•

  27. These kind of dogs are so misunderstood itโ€™s all about how you raise them I have a pit bull cross and heโ€™s literally the sweetest baby Iโ€™ve ever met he has some behavior problems with other dogs at times but it all depends on the dog he has best dog friends and Iโ€™m at least happy with that I can easily avoid other people with dogs on walks if need be but heโ€™s adventurous and his name is bear and I couldnโ€™t ask for anything more
