3. I think that there is some place in Patagonia where some people built an airfield for the specific purpose of testing airliners in severe crosswind landing. At least, that's the "official" reason. I suspect that the builders of said airfield like to sit in the climate-controlled tower and laugh as the hapless pilots bite quarter-sized chunks of upholstery from their seats with their buttholes.
