  1. I have lived all over. The level of government ineptitude in Utah never ceases to amazes me. Mammonism over the common good is the prevalent theme here…

  2. I remember the 1983 SLC Floods and there thousands of sand bags blocking up water off the freeway and all over State Street. It was bad. Ogden could very possibly be facing a similar situation. The people who asked so much for all the snow and water sure did not consider the damaging and very serious consequences of flooding. We may all be kayaking or boating into work or school.

  3. Judas…when did we start relying on the government for everything?!? City some how responsible for flooding? I guess the media has to angle every story to include a victim

  4. They take it on a case-by-case basis because of the number of people who don’t need them who will take them anyway. No flooding? No need for sandbags.

  5. Ogden city is usually sandbaggin' anyway, particularly the mayor, unless there's money to be made by him if you catch my drift. Caldwell is what you call an absentee mayor, unless there's something in it for him.
