Worshippers in Jacksonville, Arkansas gathered outside on Easter Sunday after a tornado ripped through the region more than a week ago, destroying a local church. NBC News’ Priscilla Thompson has the details on the messages of hope that residents shared.

Church is not s building it's the people ..that is what we are seeing here. ❤May their faith be deeply rooted knowing that God is God regardless of our circumstances 🙏
I wish I ever had that kind of faith! I feel so bad for all they've lost but the hope in these people is just amazing!
I did notice the three crosses still on the half destroyed wall. Maybe they put them back up. Or maybe the crosses just held on. Either way, I'm sure it meant even more today that they were still there.

The church is NOT bricks, wood, stone, or metal, it's the faithful people of Christ who make up the body of Christ. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Praise Jesus!
When prayer didn't work for preachers maybe you should try it .

It amazes me that ancestors of slaves are sucked into this insidious religion.
To worship God, the only thing we need is our hearts, not four walls. I feel proud for these people who, despite the situation, continue in their work of continuing to worship the only true God, Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead and now He is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Cor 15.3-4
