  1. Time to recreate an ancient civilization and "hire" actors to play out the role… WAIT DOES THIS EXPLAIN THE JUNGLE VILLAGERS?!

  2. Really hope they add more structures to this and make it bigger, like a whole town. I also hope that you can change the color of the armor modifiers

  3. I don't even know how it would work since minecraft worlds are randomly generated, but it would be awesome if these structures somehow led to to a village and the underground ancient villages, so you could spend hours following it like a story and mining it out and all

  4. My father was an actual archaeologist (God rest his soul) I went on excavation trips with him. It's pretty accurate you'll find a lot of junk. What junk that is depends on the time of the excavation site. Like pottery shards from an ancient rubbish pit or where they discarded their bones after eating. If you're unlucky, their latrine. Or 150 year old buttons, broken bottles and where they tossed their crappy old candlestick. Then 5% of the time you find something REALLY GOOD.

  5. A weird structure that doesn't make sense with the current structure actually makes a lot of sense with the archeology feature. I hope there will be a lot of more of those. Can't wait to dig them up.

  6. I found 3 of them so far. One went down Into an open area with more structures, the second went down Into water, and the third seems to be completely above ground.

  7. what would be REALLY cool, is if there were some kind of villager workstations that you could only find in this structure (maybe in the purple room) for some new villager variants

  8. Hmm… i really like the idea but it would be better if it was actual structures rather than blobs of items posing as a ruined structure. They could put these biome blocks in chests. It is a ruined structure and plenty room for SUS BLOCKS without making the structures big blobs of block puke. PLEASE MAKE ACTUAL STRUCTURES THAT LOOK AMAZING WHEN YOUR DONE BEING AN ARCHIOLOGIST! I dont know if maps will lead you to these, but that would be cool if you could get maps that lead you to ruined areas to be excavated. OR maybe MAPPED Dig Sites can be the cool structures and keep some of these blob sites too. Because right now when we are done digging it out, its just a hole in the ground and not an amazing discovery.

  9. Minecraft is kinda hinting towards an underground railroad kinda vibe with this structure
It looks like its made from salvaged blocks from the "junk" chest in your base like the construction was rushed or something.

  10. oohhhh the flyover at 6:48!!! You can NOT tell me this was not the ruins of an old village! The 'trail' was an old paved road. The 'rooms' you find off the trail are old houses, and the loot you find inside of the houses are exactly what archaeologists would look for and find! Honestly the "junk" tickles my brain more that the "rare" stuff. What did these people eat? What did they value? How did they live? What did they think was beautiful? What did they keep in their homes for everyday use? Archaeologists call that "material culture" and it's my favorite part of history.
I'm getting closer and closer to being able to make historical recreations inside Minecraft using only Minecraft-canon lore

  11. I remember when you’d talk about how you’re pushing to get a million subs.. look at you now with 1.58 million!

So quit telling me to subscribe already, Jesus Christ.

  12. Honestly? I think they need to be bigger and It could be a little more cohesive as a structure and less random (not in terms of variability). Overall I think it’s pretty cool tho like a 7/10 on the interesting level.
