  1. In college, my freshman and sophomore dorms were located right next to a canyon that was an ecological preserve. Of course, the inherent mess of college students attracted raccoons and some of them got to be massive, but certainly not this large

  2. So I'm confused, did she receive them overweight like that or did she overfeed them? I guess it don't make a difference if she's doing the right thing now, 💩 happens but holy hell I've never seen a fat raccoon.

  3. This is sad. People overfeed animals and then decide how often to feed them and put them in these small cages. Raccoons tend to have a home range of about 2 to 10 square kilometres and they may travel several kilometres outside of their home range in search of food or a mate. adult raccoons can typically survive without food for up to a week or more yet people are feeding them multiple times a day which kills their desire to move when they have available food. To climb up a ladder and get food is just so ridiculous. This was hard to watch. Hopefully, you can get them to a health weight and get them out of human hands ASAP.

  4. They sure are super cute. Glad they have a nice human helping look out for them and give them their best life. Not sure why only one of their weights was mentioned and not the other. Hopefully they are all doing well.
