These farm animals transformed into heroes like those in tear-jerking cartoon Animals of Farthing Wood – as a goat and rooster rushed to save their chicken pal as it was attacked by a hawk.
Jaap Beets was standing in his farmhouse in Gelderland, Netherlands, on September 5 when he heard loud screaming from his livestock outside.
Incredible CCTV footage showed a goshawk as it dive-bombed one of his brown chickens, sending feathers flying all over the paddock.

That other chicken… dude. I'd expect all the animals especially other chickens to GTFO, y'know? Survival means it's better to run away and live while another gets sacked. But that chicken running in to do whatever she could to save her friend, that's some stuff you don't even see humans do for each other in life or death situations. we have a small flock of chickens and omg this gave me goosebumps (so to speak lol). it's why we sacrificed some square footage to have a wire roof on our chicken run.
