I used to commute by motorcycle in Manhattan and not only is splitting lanes safer, it's mandatory to stay alive. While illegal, I've had it save my life as I was sitting behind a car once and then for some reason I decided to split the lane. No sooner had I split it, I heard the sickening sound of a car skidding to a stop behind me. As I turned my head I saw the car I was behind crushed by the car that was behind me. NO MATTER WHAT IDIOT POLITICIANS SAY, SPLITTING LANES IS SAFER THAN NOT SPLITTING LANES!

15. I am the pilot. I can confirm that it wasn't a training exercise. I was eating that bow of grapes the stewardess gave me for apologies (we flight crew enjoy good times too after all). So don't listen to that video! Lol. What happened was that I dropped a grape or two under the steering pedal and didn't realize until it was too late that I was flying around in circles over that city one time lol. No one died, only one stewardess broke her back but he had a good attitude about it.
Some say she had surgery others believe it's not true, that it is bullshit, she did noooooooooot.
They took her wings the next week, so she couldn't fly no more, she works no more, she loves no more. She will not be in the sky no more and her family was relegated to witness protection by the government for the people with limited devisibility and justice for one.

#4 is pretty common and most motorcycle riders do this……why it's on this list is kind of baffling…..on a bike you want to be ahead of traffic as soon as you can to avoid accidents……people can't see you so being ahead of them is best place to be……its called "lane splitting"
