That edge catch was a knockout blow with a helmet and potentially a TBI without a helmet. That’s the kind of slam that stays with you forever and influences how much risk your willing to assume every time you get on the lift.
I broke the big bone in my arm in VT on the last run and it screw my head up to where I don’t even like jumps anymore. I remember seeing my arm at a 90 degree angle and passing out.

6:50 know that feeling, its usually the most innocent of runs that gets you with your guard down. Was on such a run and my ski caught a small snow clump that I couldn't see, dug in on the outer edge and flung me forwards. Before I knew it I was looking upwards in a plume of snow. Absolutely fine and weirdly not shaken, just gave it 5 mins to settle down and fully self check to make sure it wasn't just adreneline and carried on. Its a weird sport!

Went snowboarding for the first time today. I ate sht multiple times. It was fun af tho. Except for the last hill my homie manipulated me to go on. It had huge cliff drop offs. I took my snowboard off and walked down lol
